Maria: Poison 2.1

Solid Snake: The Pharmakeia Files

The night was thick with the scent of industrial decay, the glow of neon signs reflecting off rain-slicked pavement. Solid Snake crouched on a rooftop, his codec buzzing in his ear. Otacon’s voice came through, tense as ever.

“Snake, the reports were true. They’re forcing it on her—high-level Rockefeller-funded medical intervention. Angelina Jolie refuses, but they won’t take no for an answer.”

Snake exhaled slowly, the cigarette between his fingers burning down. He knew how this game was played. The pharmaceutical cartel—the new war machine. No need for bullets when they had pills, needles, and forced compliance.

“She’s right to refuse,” Snake muttered. “They dress it up as medicine, but it’s poison.” He glanced at the darkened sky, remembering scripture:

“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
—Revelation 9:21.

Sorceries. Pharmakeia. The Greek word didn’t mean magic tricks—it meant drugs. The kind that dulled the mind and shackled the soul.

Otacon hesitated. “Snake… are you saying this is bigger than just one case?”

“Damn right,” Snake growled. He had fought the Patriots, AI overlords, genetic manipulation—this was just the next step in their playbook. Control through chemicals. “They mask it behind progress, but the truth is written in the oldest book we have.”

He clenched his jaw, remembering another verse:

“For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
—Revelation 18:23.

The deception ran deep. Governments, corporations, even the Church—many had fallen into silence or complicity. But Snake wasn’t about to let that slide.

“The Vatican should stand with her,” he said. “The Church has stood against tyrants before. They should stand against this one.”

Otacon sighed. “And if they don’t?”

Snake crushed his cigarette underfoot and reloaded his SOCOM.

“Then I do it my way.”

The mission was clear. Protect the innocent. Expose the truth. And if necessary… take the fight to the enemy.

Solid Snake wasn’t done yet.
